We Need Transparency

So you get a letter about whatever, but the people two doors down have the same problem but worse - and they're not fixing it.  Are they just ignoring the liens?  Are people that complain about the HOA being singled out?  Do people that hang out with board members get off scott free?  Nobody knows, but it certainly feels that way.

Southern Property Management told us they can't reveal who gets letters because of privacy, but they've never explained why they think that is the case.  We can all look up who owns what property on QPublic - it's not like any of this information is secret.

A Plan for a Fix

We propose at a minimum sending a monthly update including the following information:

  1. How many official requests have been sent per issue.
  2. Any upcoming focus issues - i.e. mailboxes or paint or whatever.
  3. Updates on homeowner requested issues such as common areas.
  4. A summary of yearly expenditures vs budget.
